Why us?

"RoSPA is the only advanced motorcycle riding organisation to exclusively use Police Class 1 examiners, so you can be sure when you get your 'Gold', you've earned it"

If you have ever fancied tutoring, we are looking for tutors to join our group and help deliver RoSPA advanced training. If you hold a RoSPA 'Gold' qualification, have the necessary aptitude and willingness to promote RoSPA's ethos, please contact John Duckworth on 07413 117027 and ask him about our Fast Track system of training tutors.

Welcome to RoSPA's Advanced Drivers and Riders,

North Lancashire and South Cumbria Riders website

A RoSPA Advanced Riders group covering north of Preston, Lancashire, to Tebay, Cumbria and across to West Yorkshire. We welcome riders from all walks of life and can offer RoSPA motorcycle training to an advanced standard from our pool of approved RoSPA Group and Advanced Tutors. All our tutors hold a RoSPA Gold qualification, equivalent to the IAM Masters, several hold both. We only use the best riders to teach to the best standards.  Whether you want to learn advanced riding to a high standard, using the Police manual of ‘Road Craft’, or simply want to join a group of friendly, similarly minded riders that enjoy riding motorcycles, we can offer you something.

We have tutors strategically situated around Lancashire and Cumbria, so you don’t have to travel miles and we work closely with RoSPA examiners who are based local to our group. Again, reducing travel. We are fortunate to have access to fantastic motorcycling roads in our area, and of course are close to the scenic roads of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. More information can be found in this web site, or please feel free to contact us for an informal chat. You can also come along to one of our breakfast meetings, details found on the calendar within this website.
